Shinhan Card was founded in 1987 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SFG. It offers a full range of financial products and services through Shinhan Bank’s 900 branches as well as its own 25 branches nationwide. Mr. Cheung Soon Young has worked at Shinhan Bank (Korea) over 20 years and has experienced in various areas including financial planning, accounting, and branch sales management. Especially as a financial expert, he has well implemented conversion of US-GAAP and adoption of IFRS at the bank. In 2013, after successfully performing CFO position in Shinhan Bank America, his career took a path to become a global business expert through years. Starting from July 2020, he assumed a position as a Head of Shinhan Card Global Business Division. As a Division Head, he is focusing not only stabilizing overseas business of Shinhan Card including Vietnam, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, and Myanmar but also creating new values with One Shinhan synergies.
He obtained his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Economics from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea.

CHEUNG SOON YOUNG

Mr. Kim Jeong Ki has worked at Shinhan Card (Korea) over 20 years and has diverse experiences covering financial planning, development of financial product, risk management and customer services planning. As financial planning expert among the rest by mostly working for, he has taken charge of financial planning and management of overall company since 2019. As a Member of Member Council, he is focusing on balancing financial contribution of overseas company with mother company and strengthening capability of financial management to create better performances.
He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Seoul National University, Korea.

KIM JEONG KI

Mr. Oh Taejoon has been working for Shinhan Card (Korea) for more than 26 years. He is very experienced in risk management, business operations management, Sales finance product development and Auto loan. Appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Company in February 2019 and along with the role of Member of Member Council, Mr. Oh Taejoon is making great contributions for the Company to get many achievements in the finance sector and better business result.

Mr. Oh Taejoon is personally participating in the entire transformation of the Company, to digitize all functions from customer service to the office and human resource management to improve operational efficiency.
He obtained his Bachelor's degree in International Trade from KangWon University, KangWon, Korea.

OH TAEJOON

Mr. Yang Hyung Mo has been working for Shinhan Card (Korea) for more than 21 years. He was one of the key people of the M&A deal in January 2019 when Shinhan Card acquiring Prudential Vietnam Finance Company Limited and establishing Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Limited. Since then, Mr. Yang Hyung Mo is taking responsibility as a Member of Member Council and Head of Strategy & Planning. His last role in Shinhan Card was Deputy General Manager for Global Business Department. Before that, he held various positions in VIP client promotion planning, innovative business planning, HR training and audit.
He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea.

YANG HYUNG MO

Mr. Kim Byung Kun joined Shinhan Card from 1998, worked as the Deputy General Manager of Global Business Team from 2014. As a strategic planning expert, he has taken on key roles in managing corporate resources and overseeing the international business development of the company. He has played a pivotal role in expanding the global footprint of the Shinhan Card worldwide. In 2023, Mr. Kim Byung Kun was officially appointed as the Division Head of Global Business Team at Shinhan Card and along with the role of Member of Member Council at Shinhan Finance Vietnam. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Yonsei University, South Korea, and Master’s degree of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Illinois, USA.
