SHINHAN FINANCE’S NEW GENERAL DIRECTOR - MR. OH TAEJOON

Ho Chi Minh City, 14/04/2021 – Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Ltd. (“Shinhan Finance”) today announces the appointment of Mr. Oh Taejoon as General Director, effective from 06/04/2021, and is subject to the approval of the State Bank of Vietnam No. 2118/NHNN-TTGSNH, issued on 31/03/ 2021 and its mother company Shinhan Card.

Mr. Oh Taejoon has been working for Shinhan Card (Korea) for more than 26 years. He is very experienced in risk management, business operations management, Sales finance product development. Prior to his appointment as General Director of Shinhan Finance, he was DCEO of the Company in February 2020 and along with the role of Member of Member Council from November 2020.

Mr. Oh Taejoon is making great contributions for Shinhan Finance to get many achievements in the finance sector and better business result. Mr. Oh Taejoon is personally participating in the entire transformation of the Company, to digitalize all functions from customer service to the office and human resource management to improve operational efficiency.
