Shinhan Finance continues to contribute Blood Donation in Dong Nai province

(Ho Chi Minh City, September 21, 2023), Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Limited (Shinhan Finance) coordinated with the Red Cross Association at Bien Hoa City, organized the Blood Donation at the Community Cultural Center of Tan Tien Ward, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai province. The activity attracted the participation of Shinhan Finance members, thereby contributing 13,650 ml of blood to patients in need of blood and adding to the blood reserves of hospitals in this city.

Up to now, Shinhan Finance has successfully organized 2 Blood Donation events in Dong Nai and Da Nang. On September 27th, the 3rd blood donation event will be organized by Shinhan Finance in Ho Chi Minh City.

Blood Donation has long been an activity implemented by Shinhan Finance every year. 2023 is the 4th year Shinhan Finance has accompanied organizations to organize this series of Blood Donation Programs. Through the organizations, Shinhan Finance members donated about 712 units of blood (equivalent to 184.700 ml of blood) to patients being treated at local hospitals. Shinhan Finance hopes that the blood units donated by SVFC members and relatives will contribute to overcoming the shortage of blood for medical treatment, thereby accompanying the medical team to restore life, bringing optimism and hope to patients and families.

In addition to blood donation activities, Shinhan Finance has devoted a lot of effort to organizing giving and investing in the future generation of Vietnam through the “Fulfil Your Dreams and Happiness” journey, with the goal of encouraging pupils to develop active reading skills. After 4 years of implementation, this journey has gone through 11 provinces and cities in Vietnam, donated 64 bookcases, 24,625 children's books and renovated 11 children's reading rooms in Vietnam. Provincial and city libraries. In addition, every year, Shinhan Finance, on behalf of Shinhan Card, organizes the Good Hallyu Project to give thousands of gifts, including school kits and health care kits to young kids in difficult circumstances, in many provinces and cities of Vietnam. The company also organizes many activities to spread a green lifestyle internally, such as exchanging old appliances, running for health, and many other activities.
