Shinhan Finance has been honored as the "Typical units in the exploitation and use of credit information services 2023”

Recently, Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Limited (Shinhan Finance) was honored by the National Credit Information Centre of Vietnam (CIC) as the "Typical units in the exploitation and use of credit information services 2023” at the conference "Conference to summarize credit information activities in 2023 and Implementation of Tasks for 2024" held in Ha Noi.

According to the report for 2023 the national credit information database managed by CIC operates safely and stably, timely meeting the data exploitation needs of partners within and outside the industry. This contributes to the safe and healthy development of the financial and banking system.¹.

In addition, at this conference, representatives who were leaders of various departments, bureaus, and units of the State Bank of Vietnam also engaged in discussions, sharing practical experiences, put forward suggestions, proposals, and solutions aimed at enhancing the collaboration in the upcoming period.

On this occasion, CIC also announced the decision to commend 25 Credit Institutions for their outstanding performance. Shinhan Finance had been honored position in the Top 10 of “Typical Units in the Exploitation and Use of Credit Information Services 2023.” This is the second time Shinhan Finance has received commendation from the Credit Information Centre. Previously, Shinhan Finance was also chosen as the “Typical Unit in Credit Information Activities 2022”.

By achieving this award, Shinhan Finance has affirmed its efforts to contribute to the positive development of Vietnam's banking and finance industry, thereby emphasizing the important role of legal financial institutions in with the social economy. In 2023, Shinhan Finance pushed its communication, providing guidance to customers on securing user information, and encouraging the public to remain vigilant against black credit practices. These efforts contribute to protecting consumer rights, especially young consumers.
