SHINHAN FINANCE SUPPORTS VIETNAMESE STARTUPS DEPLOYING A VARIETY OF FINANCIAL PRODUCTS FOR STUDENTS

Ho Chi Minh City, November 19, 2024, Shinhan Finance Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Shinhan Finance) has just signed a cooperation agreement with Knowledge Journey Joint Stock Company (Finsey).

After the “2024 Global Shinhan Innoboost” (1) contest launched by Shinhan Future Lab (2), Finsey, a fintech company, was selected by Shinhan Finance as a partner to introduce Shinhan Finance’s credit services to students of universities and colleges nationwide. Students can refer to the information on Finsey’s website and apply for a Shinhan Finance loan or credit card henceforth.

During the signing ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Chi - Head of Product Development Division of Shinhan Finance said: "We highly appreciate Finsey's efforts in bringing official and transparent credit support from Shinhan Finance to a large number of students from universities and colleges. At the same time, through this cooperation, Shinhan Finance also affirms the companionship and support of Vietnamese startups to improve operational efficiency, promote innovation, and bring the compassionate finance of Shinhan Financial Group to the people of Vietnam".

Also at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thien Dinh, CEO of Finsey shared: "With the goal of providing all financial services, comprehensively from tuition fees, living expenses, and personal development costs to Vietnamese students, Finsey believes that the young generation can completely overcome financial barriers to confidently complete the path of cultivation accumulating knowledge and making positive contributions to the development of the country. The partnership with Shinhan Finance has increased opportunities for students to access mainstream credit services and safe and transparent financial solutions."
