Shinhan Finance Supports a Healthier Community at Hai Phong Lung Hospital

(Hai Phong City, April 4th, 2025) Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Limited extended its support to Hai Phong Lung Hospital by donating essential items to assist patients in difficult circumstances.

This charitable initiative is part of the company’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Harmony program, and was carried out by Shinhan Finance’s Hanoi branch. As part of the campaign, 43 gift sets—including electric fans and wheelchairs—were presented to the hospital to aid in the care of patients.

Shinhan Finance has long emphasized community-oriented activities, especially in the fields of healthcare and education. Most recently, the company successfully organized its annual blood donation phase 1’2025 in Ho Chi Minh City. This marks the sixth consecutive year the event has been held, contributing a total of over 1,330 units of blood to Vietnam’s healthcare system.

In Hai Phong, a key locality for Shinhan Finance’s community projects, the company previously donated four bookshelves containing 738 books to the city’s library in 2022 through the “Fulfill dreams of happiness” program, aiming to enrich the knowledge of local youth.

According to the Hai Phong Department of Health the tuberculosis rate in Hai Phong is considered moderate compared to national averages, with approximately 1,600 new cases detected annually. By supporting the hospital’s operations, Shinhan Finance hopes to ease the burdens faced by healthcare workers and offer practical assistance to patients through these meaningful donations.

Not only is Shinhan Finance an active contributor to social well-being, but it also takes pride in its ability to provide pratical finance solutions. These range from small loans like installment purchases and cash loans for living needs of up to 300 million VND to auto loans of up to 10 billion VND. With a nationwide network, the company operates 10 Branches and 26 Service Introduction Points across the country.
