Shinhan Finance joins hands to nurture the dreams of underprivileged students in Da Nang

When a bicycle becomes a trusted companion on the journey to school, and each book holds the quiet power to nurture a child's dream

With a heartfelt wish to stand by students facing difficult circumstances and give them the encouragement they need to keep moving forward, on the morning of May 21, Shinhan Finance – Da Nang Branch carried out the community initiative “Spreading love, nurturing the future" at Nguyen Thai Binh Secondary School, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City

When compassion takes shape through action

“Spreading love, nurturing the future" is a heartfelt initiative under Shinhan Finance’s Harmony community project series. At Nguyen Thai Binh school, Shinhan Finance members brought with them more than just 42 meaningful gifts including new bicycles, books, and school supplies for diligent students facing hardships. Company also brought a message: "May your learning journey always be supported, and may you never feel alone as you reach for your dreams."

Each bicycle brings the children a little closer to school, walking alongside them as they explore new paths of knowledge. Each new book set becomes a spark of joy in the classroom. And behind every gift lies the warmth and sincerity of Shinhan Finance’s people - who believe that kindness is not only a gesture, but also a seed that nurtures a more compassionate, humane world.

Giving – A Journey of endurance and powerful impact

Since its very first days in the Vietnamese market, Shinhan Finance has remained committed to supporting communities—especially the young generation, the future pillars of the nation. As part of this dedication, through the Harmony community project series, the Company has this year donated 135 meaningful gifts including books and school supplies to students at a kindergarten in Binh Duong Province and a primary school in the Vietnam–Laos border region of Thanh Hoa Province.

Beyond that, the Company continues to carry out impactful initiatives that spread human values to every corner of the country:

• “Fulfil your dream and happiness”: 64 bookshelves with over 24,625 children's books have been donated to 11 provincial libraries nationwide fostering a love of reading and expanding knowledge for children.
• Good Hallyu Project: A CSR initiative by Shinhan Card, implemented in Vietnam by Shinhan Finance, delivering 1,855 school supply kits to children at SOS Children's Villages across the country.
