Shinhan Finance Employees Actively Donate Blood in Da Nang – Spreading the Message “A Drop of Blood for the Community”
Da Nang, August 23, 2025 – Continuing the journey of “Contributing to a Stronger Community,” Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Ltd. (Shinhan Finance), in collaboration with the Da Nang Red Cross Society, successfully organized the humanitarian blood donation program “A Drop of Blood for the Community” at 36 Tran Quoc Toan Street, Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City.
The program attracted strong participation from Shinhan Finance employees across the Central region, contributing dozens of valuable blood units to local hospitals’ reserves, bringing new hope of survival to patients in urgent need of blood transfusions.

According to the National Steering Committee, the demand for blood remains high during the last months of the year, while shortages continue to affect many localities. Therefore, joining blood donation efforts is not only a humanitarian gesture but also a practical action, supporting the healthcare sector in its mission to save lives.
Over the past six years, through multiple campaigns, Shinhan Finance’s “A Drop of Blood for the Community” program has contributed more than 1,370 blood units to hospitals nationwide. This achievement reflects the strong impact of the initiative and demonstrates Shinhan Finance’s steadfast commitment to social responsibility.

Most recently, on April 2, 2025, Shinhan Finance, in coordination with the District 1 Labor Federation, successfully organized the first blood donation drive of the year at the District 1 Cultural Center, 06 Mac Dinh Chi Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The activity attracted enthusiastic participation from Shinhan Finance employees, contributing 91 blood units to patients in need and strengthening the city’s hospital blood reserves.

Ms. Tang Bao Tram, Central Region Sales Supervisor, arrived early to join the Da Nang event.
In this second blood donation drive of the year, nearly 50 Shinhan Finance employees came together to spread the spirit of sharing and community responsibility. Speaking at the event, Ms. Tang Bao Tram said: “We believe that every drop of blood donated not only sustains life but also lights up new hope for patients in need. It is a small act with a big meaning, and we are committed to continuing this effort to spread human values to the community.”
