Shinhan Finance Brings “Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration” to Children at City Children’s Hospital
On the morning of October 3, 2025, at Ho Chi Minh City Children’s Hospital, Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Ltd. (Shinhan Finance) organized the charity program “Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration” on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival. This activity is part of the company’s 2025 corporate social responsibility initiatives, aiming to bring joy and sharing to disadvantaged children.

At the event, Shinhan Finance prepared 120 Mid-Autumn gift sets and 240 nutritious meal portions for children and families undergoing treatment at the hospital. Each gift set included a lantern and essential items, with the hope of creating a warm, cheerful atmosphere and providing encouragement for the children and their families to overcome illness.
In addition to the gifts, the children also enjoyed a lively music and magic performance held on the hospital’s stage. The fun and engaging performances not only brought smiles to the children but also helped ease the worries of parents caring for their loved ones.

Ms. Ngo Ngoc Nga – Representative of Shinhan Finance shared: “With a spirit of sharing humanity, this community project of ours is not only about giving gifts, but also about creating a space where children can feel the care and love from the community. We believe that every moment of happiness will be a source of encouragement for the children and their families to remain confident in life.”
This is part of Shinhan Finance’s long-standing community activities, which have included many meaningful programs such as blood donation, book donations, and support for disadvantaged groups. In Vietnam, the project has delivered thousands of gifts and practical initiatives to the community.

Over the years, Shinhan Finance has remained steadfast in its mission to support Education and Healthcare – considered the foundation for sustainable social development. In line with this spirit, Shinhan Finance has carried out numerous initiatives such as donating 64 bookshelves with more than 24,625 children’s books to 11 libraries across provinces and cities; providing 2,000 sets of school supplies to children in SOS Children’s Villages nationwide; and giving nearly 300 gifts to people in difficult and particularly difficult circumstances across the country.
Through the “Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration” event, Shinhan Finance once again reaffirms its commitment to build A Better World through Finance – continuously improving quality of life and delivering positive, sustainable values to the community.
