Customer notice: Be aware of fraudulent use of the Shinhan Finance brand
Shinhan Finance takes protecting our customers, their sensitive information and financial assets seriously. We encourage you to be aware of potential fraudulent behavior by malicious parties using the Shinhan Finance brand.
Attempts have been made to defraud customers by the unauthorized use of the Shinhan Finance name and brand via website, social networks, email communications and graphics which appear, on the surface, to have originated from Shinhan Finance.
In most cases the communications concern to offer credit card, consumer lending without application process, disbursement without review, bad debt acceptance and service fee is required.
Please be advised that Shinhan Finance does not request customer’s engagement in this manner. Shinhan Finance only collects money due for official loan approval.
This security notice does not affect the obligation of a consignee to pay us monthly or similar charges published at our Branch, SIPs and website, where these are properly payable at the time of due dates.
Shinhan Finance accepts no responsibility for any costs, charges or payments made which were improperly incurred as a result of fraudulent activity.
