Amendment and Supplement to the Establishment and Operation License of Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Limited

Pursuant to the Decision No. 181/QD-NHNN issued on February 22, 2022 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam on adding the content of the establishment and operation license of Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Limited. Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Limited is pleased to announce:

The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam approved the addition of Item e, Clause 3, Article 4 of the Establishment and Operation License No. 51/GP-NHNN dated May 3, 2019 issued by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam to Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Limited as follows:

“e) Trading, providing foreign exchange services in domestic and international markets within the scopes of State Bank of Vietnam’s regulations, in specific:

(i) Basic scope of foreign exchange activities in the domestic market:

• Taking loans in foreign currencies from other permitted credit institutions, domestic financial institutions;
• Issuing international credit cards;
• Opening payment accounts in foreign currencies at commercial banks, foreign exchange banks that are permitted to conduct foreign exchange transactions.

(ii) Basic scope of foreign exchange activities in the international market: Opening payment accounts at foreign banks to issue credit cards.”
