Be Alert With The Trick Of Recruiting Collaborators via Shinhan Finance’s Reputation

Recently, Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Ltd., (Shinhan Finance) has received complaints regarding some individuals who committed fraud through the form of recruiting collaborators to work at home or online earning money. These scammers have used many sophisticated tricks, hitting people's psychology of needing money immediately to appropriate property, the amount of money fraud can be up to tens of millions of Vietnam Dong.

Through social media such as Facebook, Zalo, these scammers impersonated employees working for third parties of Shinhan Finance and looking for collaborators to work at home or make money online. After successfully approaching, these scammers will send requests to perform tasks such as downloading applications (apps), interacting with video content on Tiktok, Youtube, or charity money transfer tasks, … Completing these tasks, collaborators will receive remuneration from several tens of thousands Vietnam Dong to several hundred thousand Vietnam Dong per task. After building the confidence of the participants, the scammers continue to offer tasks with a higher percentage of commissions. However, at the next time, they will announce "the system has a problem" or "the reward has been paid but the participant's account information is incorrect" and ask for an advance of an amount called "deposit fee" or "application compensation fee" etc., together with a written commitment of the amount with a forged seal and signature. Accordingly, fraudsters promise to preserve capital, and commit to compensate 300% of their invested capital.

Shinhan Finance's recruitment process need follow direct interviews and signs labor contracts with Shinhan Finance or with Shinhan’s recruitment partners, including these following steps:

• Additional identity documents and personal information
• Professional training
