Recently, Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Limited (Shinhan Finance) has received reports from customers that they have been approached by individuals or organizations who instruct them to download the iShinhan mobile application for loan application submission. These individuals then confiscate the customers' original identity documents and request a fee for document processing.

Through this announcement, Shinhan Finance would like to confirm:

• iShinhan is the only mobile application of Shinhan Finance. Customers can download the iShinhan application from mobile app stores (App Store) and use it completely free of charge.
• Customers self-register to use Shinhan Finance's financial products (loans, credit cards) via iShinhan on their mobile devices. Shinhan Finance does not use any individual or organization's services for brokerage consultation, instruction on downloading the application, or creating loan/credit card applications on iShinhan.
• iShinhan is a mobile application that integrates advanced technologies, so Shinhan Finance does not confiscate customers' original identity documents or any other documents.

During the service experience process, customers need to be aware of the following information to ensure safety while using the service.

• Customers should download the iShinhan application themselves and use their own personal phone number and email to create their user account.
• Customers should manage and secure their iShinhan login username, login password, PIN code, and OTP code.
• Customers should never provide their personal information such as login username, password, PIN code, or OTP code to anyone, even they are Shinhan Finance staffs. In case someone claims to be an investigative agency, customers need to verify the authenticity to avoid falling into fraudulent impersonation traps.
• Customers should prioritize using the biometric security measures provided on iShinhan.
• Customers should sign out of the application immediately after completing a transaction.

Shinhan Finance will take legal action against any individuals or organizations that engage in fraudulent or illegal activities by exploiting iShinhan, in accordance with the law.
