Shinhan Finance spreads the spirit of "donating blood to save people" in Da Nang

In response to International Blood Donor Day (June 14th), Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Limited (Shinhan Finance), in collaboration with the Red Cross Society of Da Nang City, is organizing the Humanitarian Blood Donation Program 2023 at Le Thi Hong Gam Secondary School, Thanh Khe District, on June 11th, 2023.

Blood donation has become an annual activity organized by Shinhan Finance to share life and hope for patients in need of blood for treatment across the country. At the same time, this humanitarian activity also encourages Shinhan Finance employees and everyone around to have the habit of sharing the life with the community. This is the 4th year Shinhan Finance accompanies the medical organizations to organize this series of activities. Through the activities, Shinhan Finance members donated about 673 blood units (equivalent to 171.050 ml of blood) to patients being treated at local hospitals. It is hoped that the blood units donated from this activity will contribute to overcoming the local blood shortage, thereby accompanying the doctors and nurses to save lives, bringing optimism and hope for both patients, families, and their beloved ones.

Humanitarian blood donation, promoting a green lifestyle, environmental protection, and other events are regularly organized as part of Shinhan Finance's E.S.G. (Environmental - Social - Governance) activities in Vietnam.
