Shinhan Finance donated school suppliers Kit, books and K-Culture Kits to children in the S.O.S Village in Quy Nhon

On December 22nd, Shinhan Finance, on behalf of Shinhan Card, donated 150 learning gift sets and more than 270 books to the children living in the Quy Nhon S.O.S Village. The donation activity is part of “The Good Hallyu Project”, which has been sustained for the past 4 years.

Present at the donation event were Representatives from Shinhan Finance, Board of Director of S.O.S Quy Nhon Village, and the children being nurtured at the Village.

Following the donation of 300 gifts to the children at the S.O.S Nha Trang Village in April of this year, this marks the second time in 2023 that Shinhan Finance, represented by Shinhan Card, has implemented this meaningful The Good Hallyu Project.

The Good Hallyu Project is a community support initiative of Shinhan Card designed to share the corporate social responsibility (CSR) values abroad. Over the course of four years in Vietnam, this meaningful project has donated in many localities across the country, providing over 1,700 gift sets (including pens, backpacks, books, and hygiene kits).

With the purpose of foresting a sustainable community value creation, with a special focus on children, Shinhan Finance is honored to continue implementing The Good Hallyu Project at the S.O.S Quy Nhon Village. With over 150 sets of learning kits and 270 diverse genre books sent to the children, Shinhan Finance would like to provide the motivational support for studying, growing, and enhancing their knowledge.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Director of the S.O.S Quy Nhon Village, shared his appreciation for Shinhan Finance’s support: “S.O.S Quy Nhon Village is sincerely appreciating the support from Shinhan Vietnam Finance Company Limited for the work of managing, taking care of, and raising helpless orphans, children in especially difficult circumstances in the Village. These meaningful gifts will be an extremely valuable source of encouragement and an important motivation for children being raised in the S.O.S Quy Nhon Village.”

Besides contributing to and actively participating in social activities, Shinhan Finance has also launched a series of initiatives in the time of the celebration of the Company’s 17^th Anniversary such as Sponsor for competitions aimed at enhancing awareness of consumer rights among the young generation, Blood donation….
